Amazing is all we can say with how God has so richly blessed this ministry. We had a need for 12 dolls. The Lord sent us dolls from Indiana, Pennsyvania, and right here in South Carolina. There was enough for the 12 and for our other needs, as well. Yesterday, we were able to bring smiles to 12 young ladies at Connie MaxwellChildren's Home in Greenwood, SC. We have now partnered with them and will provide dolls on an on-going basis. Words can not describe the emotions we experienced to see the young girls sitting in the floor and playing with their dolls when we left. It made every effort so worth it! Today, we met with Pendleton Place in Greenville and have now partnered with them to provide dolls to their girls who meet the age guidelines. We will be making donations there next Wednesday. God is so good. I say this so many times - and it is so true. Never did we imagine that the Lord would allow us to touch so many lives in this past year. He has not only allowed us to meet the young girls, but also the house parents, the staff, and others involved in the process. And we can not forget the wonderful people who have donated dolls, books, outfits, quilts, bags, accessories, Bibles, their time and much more. Some of these people we have never met except on-line. We are so thankful for each and everyone one of them. We simply could not do this without the help of others. We are now partnered with all Miracle Hill Rescue Missions, Miracle Hill Children's Home - Pickens, Helping Hands in Central, Calvary Homes in Anderson, Connie Maxwell Children's Home in Greenwood, and now Pendleton Place in Greenville. Our wish is that each of you could go with us to the donations and experience the joy in the eyes of a child. It is priceless. Thank you! |
